I hope those of you that have downloaded the Nuem Campaign enjoy it. As it is in Melderyn, I don't expect many of you will be featuring it in your games, but maybe you can steal bits and pieces of it, and get a few ideas that can be used.

I'll eventually do a version 2 of it, and include a bunch of setting info (manor generation, market days, craftsmen at each manor, etc) that is only in my head now. If you see any typos or grammatical errors, I'd like to know about them, so they can be fixed.

I have downloaded it but not looked through it yet. Will do that by the end of the week. But thanks for work any way.

I know that feeling - everything that gets posted here I download, but getting around to reading it can take ages. Forget actually going to a bookstore - I just don't seem to be able to set aside time to read any more.

Gentlemen!!!

If the lad (Mr JR Purvis) has taken the time to write this pieces, you should have at least the common courtesy of giving a quick scan to see if you like his work or not. I most certainly will take any opportunity to read new fanon of my favorite hobby as soon as possible.

And thank you jrpurvis for your work. Taking any idea to completion in these interesting (Chinese version) times is to be applauded. I look forward to reading it this evening...

Just finished reading them this morning. Fascinating take on Melderyni politics. I particularly like all the local characters and the interplay you've created between them.

Interesting read. I particulary like the Matasum idea.

15 years ago I ran a campaign in the Nuem valley where all the characters were Rethemi Agrikans. The Agrikan primate had heard about the legend. He had a swordsmith make a fabulous sword and sendt PCs to Melderyn undercover to find a Solori chief they could place in the role as the new Matasum.

The Rethemi trained the Solori. The Lady of Paladins where in serious trouble until the Council of Eleven forced a peace down their throat and managed to outwit the Agrikans.:black:

Roland came up with the Matasum angle in his timeline - I just stole the idea and adapted it a bit for mine. You can find his extensive timeline at viewtopic.php?f=41&t=5184. For any that haven't read through this, I highly recommend doing so.

Many thanks for the kind words. One of my goals when making all this is that I didn't want clear-cut good and evil for all NPSc. Some LoP members want genocide against the Solori, but others just want to defend the villages. Some you hope meet a messy end at the hands of the Solori, while others you may introduce to your daughter. Earl Harden is a political schemer leading a rebellion, but he really could do a better job of ruling the northern lands than what they have gotten from Cherefir.

I like arguments and fighting amongst player characters, as it makes great roleplaying opportunities. I can easily see any party introduced into this area having split loyalties, and having the loyalties change as secrets are revealed and alliances shift.

Thank you, made for an interesting read and gave me some ideas to incorporate into my next campaign - which will start in Laket. Good Material - and thank you for the reference to the FFF article, they do compliment each other.

I liked it. It will become a resourse for my game. Thank you! :D
