OOP is used in the printers to refer to something that is Out Of Print.

Technically if i recall correctly the Harn material isn't OOP as such but out of stock pending a rerun or release as second edition. Though I recall that is often semantics.

Generally though most people refer to an item that is out of stock (and waiting a re-print and out of print items that will not ever be reprinted as OOP.

I may have some of those details way wrong, it is afterall now 15 years since i was working in a book shop and dealing with those problems, but none the less OOP stands for Out Of Print.

Wasn't there a rap song in the 90's that chanted "Ya down with O O P?! Yeah, you know me!"

Maybe that was O P P.

Yo, Peace Out.

These days, it seems to be mandatory for hip-hoppers to grow full beards! ;)

In fact, Richard Luschek is merely the fabricated alter-ego of Herbert Kornfeld.

As an aged punk I've never been able to understand the appeal of hip-hop, completely meaningless lyrics, not like, say The Ramones

gabba gabba hey!

That's simply not true. You must have listened to the wrong songs then. 8)

And it's not such a great gap between punk and hip-hop as some purists may think.

Yup - best proof is http://www.tanzverbot.com . A punk and a whole nuch of hüpf-hopfers... And it also proves that there are lyrics that make sense... but I'm going political again...

I always have a weak spot for fun-punk and lay-back hip-hop, even if my dominate taste in music is more or less at the jazz-influenced level. "Hauptsache, it grooved."
