Hello all,

I thought it would be a good idea to open a post about the terraficta mapping project I already mentioned in the warferret's.

The site and the maps are not exclusively for mapping Hârnic locations, but are rather supposed to provide a tool to create computer generated roleplaying maps using Adobe Photoshop. The site does not only present finished maps, but rather offers the templates and various other files needed to create those maps as for download.

You can find the project at http://www.terraficta.net

I will keep you updated on new developments here in this thread. Any comments and / or suggestions are welcome!

The site's been down a few weeks. Is it undergoing renovations, or has it Donged?

I really liked it and hope it returns.

I've been unable to contact Matthias recently. Though I'll admit that I haven't tried a pm. I'd rather hoped that J-MK would answer, as I know Jari-Matti is on of the biggest users of Terraficta maps.

Of course marriage and babies derail lots of things for a while (in my experience).

I shortly chatted to Matthias yesterday and he said, terraficta will be back soon. He had some hassles with the website software and is switching to a new one some time soon.

But yesterday was the date on which his and Julia's child should have been born, so it could take a while until we see terraficta return. ;)

Should have been?

Late delivery, we're all used to that here!

Noticed after some absence that Terraficta was back up and running with a bit of a face lift.
