This problem could be solved tomorrow. That's right, tomorrow is the 15th. And what happens on the 15th of every month? Yup. The Pamesani games. Grant, Robin, and two swords. Duke it out and call it a day. And in the grand tradition of the Pamesani, the rest of us would probably all pay to watch.

Though my suggestion is intended to be somewhat tongue-in-cheek, I wonder at the level of acrimony between the two sides. Part of me just wants to say, "girls, you're both pretty." This situation benefits no one, especially if it threatens to bring a halt to all fan-generated material. At some point, wouldn't it be best for everyone involved if both sides sat down to a table, arbitrated their own disputes like gentlemen, and reached a new agreement (be it a new contract or a legally-recognized ending of the previous one)? Harn was never a huge money-maker, so I can't imagine the issue is over any amount of cash that one side or the other perceives that they are somehow "owed." If so, I've got $20 in my pocket that I'll put up to have this thing over and done with. And if not, it's a matter of ego and saving face, and if that's the case, well, the only counsel I can offer both sides is to "suck it up" and resolve the issue. You guys were ostensibly friends at one point. Remember why and work it out.

Thank you this is good to hear now and then. I don't always feel appreciated, and I certainly don't always feel 'pretty' (something that rhymes with 'pretty' sure... but not actually 'pretty' as such).

The that of two leaders fighting it out while their armies watched on was tried years ago on TV as an advertisement for the UN (late 1960s). It is a nice idea though, the younger Grant having youth and speed versus the elder Robin having experience and age....... Where to put the money........
Heck with it, just by from both CGI and Kelestia, I have..... :D

The perfect solution would be for everyone to buy from both Kelestia and CGI. Then Tom can start paying Robin his royalties and everyone is happy.

Oddly, the status quo with a new contract is probably the best solution all around. There's plenty of room for two publishers, especially if the present Harnic/continental split continues to be observed.

Now, the royalties, that - and not this silly copyright debate - is the real crux. I would very much like to hear CGI's side of this especially in light of their contention that the contract remains in force. If this is so, why are they not paying royalties?
