Hello all,
A quick note of introduction; I was pointed this direction from one of the CG guys [Grant], as I have restarted a decade-old campaign started briefly when my kids were all at home and excited about RPG's.

I've been gaming since '75, first board wargames [Tactics II, anyone?

], and first played D&D in '78. Have pretty much played the gamut; mini's, Euro's, everything but Magic/WHammer.
I'm now able to game once a week [!]; have only recently been able to do so due to lack of opponents / RL interferences.
I consider my style to be a hard-core, no-nonsense gamer, with little patience for inconsistencies / poor quality game components [Tannhauser, anyone

]. I tend to give up on a game if it is too bad, or re-write/house rule to make it fun/correct, etc. Have been playtesting [board/PC/card/Euro/war games] since the early 1990's for various companies, big and small [from AH to KE, and in between].
I really enjoy campaign-style games, use of logic/real life examples, history, etc. to "get me into" a game. Currently working on a [heavily modified] d20 'conversion' / adaptation for use in Harn [GM'ed yesterday - my players are very good guinea pigs

].
Cheers,
~Jim
