Friends and I played Harn about 5 years ago. Now we are back for some more. Love the detail of Harn, variety of materials and the feel of realism that Harn has. Especially love the combat system. "Critical Failure" and "Moderate Success" have been with us ever since we first started Harn...

New campaign under way!

Welcome to HF.

Since you're not a newbie you probably already know all the sites and fanon materials, but if not check out the Lythia (mother) site.

Welcome to the Forum!

Some here are fans of Harnmaster (myself included) and all are fans (if not uncritical  ) of HarnWorld.

And here's one who is decidedly NOT a fan of HarnMaster. ;) Way too much looking up of tables and rules lawyering opportunities getting in the way of the story for me.

The setting, on the other hand, is da bizness...

Oh, and welcome to the forums. Hope you find what you're looking for, whatever that may be.

Yes, I've got all the materials I'll ever need. The campaign is taking place around Baseta in Meselyshire, Kaldor. I think I got all the material on it that there is, but more is always welcome.

One element that I think I will be adding is some Eastern-European flavor. I am originally from Russia and elements from that part of the world are distinctly missing in Harn. Which is a shame really, contemporary Russian literature has a few interesting twists on traditional fantasy...

No, I am not. (I mean I hope I am not since I don't know what CCP stands for)

CCP (Crowd Control Productions) is an Icelandic gaming company with offices (formerly White Wolf Games, which CCP now owns) in Atlanta (actually Stone Mountain, but close enough). Most of the folks that work there are hard-core, old-school gamers, and the company hires lots of Europeans. When you mentioned the Eastern Europe/Russia influences for your game, I thought you might be one of said imports.

But in any event, welcome to HarnForum!
