I have been involved in Harn off and on for over 10+ years. I have been doing Renn fairs and medieval talk's/demo's at schools for a number of years. Harn has captured my dreams of the best RPG world. But with all the gap's and unfinished rules/explanations, I have been unsuccessful in GM'ing a really great game. Partially due to the lack of character my players have.
But my real life skill's in sword fighting, wood working, leather working, armor smithing (chain & plate), blacksmithing (limited 2+ years) .... list go's on. I have been working on some detailed explanations and test results for house rules for stuff like Arrow deflection with wooden vs metal shields up - up to - Master Pvar's hammering at a Ward placed by more powerful beings(Dragon or Demi-God)
So, the Harn fire is within me again and I'm getting all my notes back out.
