I'm a bit confused about the distance from the hotel to the game site. I really don't want to walk 4 or 5km. Is there a closer hotel? Is anyone staying at the hotel with a car to give rides there and back? Do I need to rent a car just to travel back and forth between the hotel and the game site? Hopefully someone can clarify this for me. Usually the games are at the hotel or just a few blocks away.

I can run "Frozen in Froyaheim" for four characters. Stuck in Froyaheim one winter and anxious to be on their way, the disparate group spend their time playing Tonk at the Journeyhouse while waiting for the ice to break so they can be gone before the impending war with Ibanvaal breaks out.

I'm afraid we're coming by plane and bus so can't offer a lift.

However, the distance isn't anywhere near 4km.

If you put 'Bankgatan 7, Lund, Sweden' (the hotel) into Google Maps and then use it to get directions to 'Svep Design Center AB' (where we're playing) it will show you the walking route as 2.8km. It's accurate and shows a route that makes sense. That's about 1.9 miles in real money.

We didn't use the bus last time, but clicking the public transport button on google maps led me to the No. 130 bus that seems to go from just outside the hotel to a bus stop that looks to be about 800 yds from the Con.

Mikael - can you offer more precise advice on the bus service?

I see I misread the distance somewhere. We'll stay at the hotel in Lund then from Thursday night so we can do the Friday morning activities. The last unknown - until a new unknown pops up - is getting to the airport for a 9AM flight Monday morning. Should I book a room in Copenhagen Sunday night for the early Monday flight or can I get to the airport from Lund that early? I'm not sure how early I need to be at the airport in Copenhagen. In San Francisco it would need to be 7AM because of the crowds and security. Any ideas from knowledgable folks there?

Sorry, Lawrence - no particular intelligence on early morning travel. We usually allow a couple of hours too, but your carrier might have a different view - online check-in etc. to save time?

I seem to remeber Mikael letting me that some people commute from Lund to Copenhagen by train, so there are certainly early trains. However, getting to the airport for 7am might be very early. Email Mikael for local knowledge (PM me here if you don't have his email). Maybe taxi in the small hours would be cheaper than a night in Copenhagen?

I think you are probably right, Ken - Mikael can confirm.
