Has anyone had any experience using the Skaven (Ratmen) from Warhammer Fantasy Battles on Harn or Lythia?

I have dabbled in WFB and have several Skaven figures that get only occasional use. I am considering having some renegade Shek P'Var import them and then lose control, probably on Lythia rather than Harn.

We have a longstanding campaign going (17 Kethiran years) with some pretty advanced characters. I am looking for a new challenge for them. The PC's are involved with the Laranian Argent Order and have some renown as Gargun fighters, so getting them summoned to Lythia to aid in battling this new threat could be fairly easy to justify.

Does anyone have any ideas for a good location for such a campaign or has anyone done a stat conversion for these nasty little beasts? I am not aware of anything in Canon or Fanon that is comparable (other than Gargun).

The Tonatris Mountains between the Azeryan Empire and Quarphor nice empty place. Big area filled with impenetrable mountains, close enough to civilization to be a legitimate threat. Or the Azeryan Drylands if you prefer a dustier sort of rat-man. Or there are Laranians in Menema, and Menema Island itself is rugged enough to hide a Skaven Kingdom.

As for stats, just take the PCs' sheets and add two to every stat and 10 to every skill. It's so much easier than starting from scratch.
