Since so much of the Garguns knowledge is hardcoded, would it be likely that they fight in the same "style" according to Gurps rules. This would give experienced Gargun-fighters an edge by taking Style Familiarity-Gargun. Or would there be enough differences between the subspecies that each would need it's own familiarity (i.e. Style Familiarity - Araki)?

It is an interesting point, and you could easily assume that the Gargun-style would be as you suggest. If the Familiarity is an easy skill I guess I'd charge for each sub-species, but I'm coming from only knowing 3e not the new edition. If you make it harder then I'd just use the other familiarity rules to cover getting up to speed with the tactics of each subspecies.

You could certainly run it that way.
