I have made a map of Delwn Hundred in northern Melderyn using Adobe Illustrator. This is my first attempt at making a map in the Columbia Games style.
It's not perfect. Careful scrutiny will reveal that I am not up to the standards of Columbia Games mapmakers yet. But I hope to improve my skills.

I am working on an article of Delwn hundred based on this map. When I have finished the article I will include the map and post it at Lythia.com. I hope you, my fellow Harniacs, can help me in this process:

1) Constructive comments and questions concerning the map and Delwn Hundred would be appreciated.

2) Can anyone help me with coats of arms for three noble clans of Delwn hundred ?

Ogier

I agree. That's a very good representation of the CGI style. Well done!

Thank you for your kind response. :D

I used Adobe Illustrator CS1 to create the map. I am in the process of upgrading to CS5.

One question to you all. Would you welcome more maps of this sort?

I would prefer to keep clear of areas that Columbia Games have developed (or are developing). There are lots isolated islands and wilderness areas not covered in any of the published material. So if anyone have any wishes please tell me. I will not promise anything but I will listen.

I would love to see more of these for Melderyn, as it appears it will be years before Columbia Games gets around to making their detail maps of the area. The Cundras area would be my preference, and I know there have been/still are several campaigns in the Racyn/Yael area.

Extremely well done! =D>

Funnily enough, the area you have just done is the one I would like most!!

After that Genin's trail/Chybisa.

Are CGI aware of your work

My "vote" goes for
the maps wich subsequent in the south and east of your map of Melderyn and all the rest of Melderyn, because melderyn lacks in my map folder.

edit: and a somehow "higher resolution" would make your map perfect for me. would you send it to peter for hosting it? would he host the map? did it come into question?

I've acted as something of a go-between. Nothing sinsiter just want to avoid any pressure on any party.

I suppose that ignores the special ops team in transit to Norway, though.

They certainly will when they find out that I'm considering mapping all of Ivinia from A1 to N10.

Sinister? Moi? Never in life dear fellow.

I do avoid commenting on fanon for the most part, as it always seems to lead to trouble. Dexterity has little to do with it.

In the fanon I am currently writing, I have no plans for maps. In part, this is because I see little need for village maps in what I am doing. But, I am also very aware of my limitations in map making. In comparison to your work, my maps would be the doodling of a young child. You are giving me an inferiority complex! :-)

Everyone has a different strength that they can bring to the Harnic party - we look foward to your fanon contribution.
