Ohai! Thanks for posting Sophia!
This was written offline and Leitchy beat me. But here are some thoughts.
As I mentioned, transferring your site to PDf was just for my purposes but I'll continue with an eye on uploading it then. If you sign up for email notification you'll know when that, at least, is finished and you can download it and (if anything) give it your blessing. My intention is to have as an invisible footprint as reformatting will allow; using the letter template off lythia.com the word doc is already 41 pages and I have yet to add the 'Economic' pages or the distance/time tables - it could easily be turned into a Chybisa Expanded article.
One of the reasons I never tried my hand at writing fannon is that I am not sure where the line is. However, in the case of Crossby's original material the quotes are brief and cited which is fair (these could be changed to formal references but there's no real reason to). An image of Chybisa from the kingdom module technically, even if CGI gave permission for the website, needs to be renewed for print media (I believe). There's a beautiful poetic map (credited to Michael Feldman in a style I wish could replicate for all PC maps) and one of the inns (credited to Raphaël Tourde) which probably should get renewed permission for but these three can be dropped without substantially altering the document; otherwise, the maps are done by the usual gang and their stuff is so ubiquitous that box credit should work, although I imagine they are all easy to track down here on the forums. I believe the comparison composites (Chybisa overlaid on London, etc) are also covered by fair use but could easily be dropped. Everything else is your original research into the game, informed by ongoing forum topics to be sure but you even cite those. In short, I see no reason Lietchy can't link or transfer the htm docs as is and the usual credit and disclaimers should be enough for 90% of the document in a print article.
The only other thought is dropping St. Angryl's since you have a separate article on it. Oh, and the speed of currents scripts would have to be preserved in the htm docs.
Again, if anyone with In Design is willing I can turn over the raw doc. I am limited to Word 2003 and the free Nitro PDF creator and Paint Shop Pro from 1995.
On a personal note, it wasn't idle flattery. The old forums were often contentious and newbies sometimes felt they were shut out of contributing simply because they weren't playing it the 'way it was intended.' You were always encouraging and gracious. My concern was that the geocities site would eventually become inaccessible, and if I could manage to preserve the massively useful information you put a lot of effort into over a decade or more I would in some small way pay it forward.
