All my minis are for Battletech, and I haven't painted one in 7+ years. Been that long since I used any of them, for that matter. Oh, to have that kind of free time again....

Thanks for positive feedback. Each warrior is going to be an invidual. I guess we are going to try GW:s LoTR rules. They are quite simple and fast and suits to skirmish type of battling.

Battle scenenery is propably taken place some random place on Hyen and Menekod border(generic places are easiest to assemble). Hyen keep itself would be quite interesting modeling target. The architecture is are quite simple and the keep could be made from urethane foamboard. The whole village is too much trouble tho :| .

I should get that Harnlore magazine which has the article from Hyen and map for measures from my friend.

The Hyen article has been rereleased as part of Columbia Games' Hârn Classics line. You can get it for $3.99 at RPGNow.

I am not sure if I mentioned this before, but the mewlips from Mithril miniatures make decent Nolahs. Not exactly as described, but it works. I mostly use 28mm miniatures so the 32mm heroic scale does not bother me.

Though I did modify them a bit to give them a smoother tone with a bit of Milliput.

Gargun remind me kinda of short bugbears. I have been searching lists of possible miniatures.

Maybe the bugbear warriors on http://www.dndlead.com/Otherworld/Otherworld.htm#thumb
I am using this as a place to make a list of possible harnic minis as I find them.

My friends and I are into Harn and 25(ish)mm tabletop medieval gaming. We also use miniatures for the RPG. For most of the combattants we use Conquest Games 28mm Normons mounted and foot, with some Perry miniatures thrown in for good measure and variety. Never really liked the smaller Knight's shield, so in my pHarn, the Norman kite shield is king in Rethem, Kaldor, Melderyn, Chybyssia, and Kanday. Tharda uses a tower shield, and Orbaal uses round shields.

I am attaching a sample of the decals I am working on for comments (with all due credit for original artists etc... for the initial art)

Never really like that all the various kingdoms use the standard European heraldry. I feel that Orbaal should have more of a Viking or Celt look, or just something different. Likewise Tharda. Something culturally unique and different. I have been working on alternative heraldry, though that is not ready to be shown, as well as Harn unique heraldic graphics (why would they use the Tudor Rose, Fleur de Lis has no meaning, Christian cross would not be used, and other Midgaard nique heraldry would have no meaning.) Also maybe an alternate shield for the order of the Checkered Shield whose heraldry I have never liked.

The shield designs are great!

Do you print them on decals, or paint them by hand?

I have a color laser that does 2400x600dpi, so I made decals on waterslide paper. I will post pics of my table minis in a few days.

I finally made a checkered shield decal i am happy with. it looks a lot like the official one, but the lion is sejant guardant.

I use vintage Ral Partha Goblin Imps for Gargun. I snatch them up as soon as I find a reasonable lot on Ebay. They are smallish, and somewhat feral seeming. Here are some painted versions (not my work, since they are green, not brown, streaked, white, etc..)
