Being Swedish, I still have to get over the "Scandinavian style" names and phrases. It's just a bit too close to home. Unfortunately, Chelembian is what you get when a Swede is making fun of the Norwegian language. :?

So, if I run my Chelemby-Harbaal campaign as a parody of Nordic stereo-types, I will have an authentic Harnic experience!

HI Chaps

I have just picked up Shorkyne that completes my CGI collection, I have no kelestia.com products

I have a question do the kelestia products follow the same basic drift of the CGI Canon of is the history different

Kelestia is the company that Robin started when he split with Columbia Games. They use the same history but from more of a European/Lythian perspective. Chelemby was based on the Baltic Island of Bornholm which apparently was quite a hub of trading around 1200 as well as a major exporter of herring, be it dried, pickled, smoked or salted.

They have done very well along the maritime and trading themes which can always lead to interesting adventures. Emelrene has also been worked on to great success. I would highly recommend buying their products, especially if you start getting stir crazy sitting on a cold, rainy island in the north of the Haonic Ocean...

Hi Thanks

As you probably know there is a Chelemby section in the CGI Shorkyne

My question is: is the specific history of Chelemby the same the threats from Harbaallise expansion they have tried before etc, or did robin change the history from the work he produced when he was being published by CGI.

I am just trying to get the drift

I apologise if I did not work my question well

Seems to be the same, though greatly expanded. Very interesting place to begin a campaign in, but it's real value is as a place to explore Venarive from...
