Hello,
I have been reading over the Selvos article and there are several mentions of his First Wife, who committed suicide. However, the statement of a First Wife implies that there was a second as well, but I find no mention of her. Who is she? Where is she? Any help?

Also, can anyone get me a GIF of the heraldry symbol of Clan Chahryn of Selvos?

Thank you,

<sigh> Oh, Richard.

How could you fall for Matti's ironic comment, huh?

Oops! I forgot; American's don't do irony.

No? But we will pull up our sleeves and kick some Australian ass!

Maybe the problem is that you failed to see the irony in my attempt to look as though I did not see the irony in the irony. Maybe that's it! Ironic isn't it? Now who looks silly?!

Just so you know, my lovely wife posed for the bad drawing that was used for Lady Myrrhe. Unlike the drawing, my wife is not that bitchy looking, and she has a lovely nose, and it doesn't look like her arm is growing out of her neck----- hmm. maybe I should draw that one over.

Oh well, at least I have gotten better since that one.

Don't be silly. It's fine, looks better than if I tried to draw my wife!

I think I was misquoted here. Oh well, if that is what it takes.

What were we talking about?

Seguing completely off-topic, this reminds me of the great line from the Steve Martin movie, Roxanne:

Roxanne: "I was being ironic."

Charlie: "Oh, irony! Oh no, no, we don't get that here. [...] We haven't had any irony here since about '83 when I was the only practitioner of it, and I stopped because I was tired of being stared at."

A simple movie with some absolutely fabulous lines...and a scene without words that just kills me every time I see it.

For me the woman in the picture has not a "bitchy looking". She only seems to have no time for humour, or irony. The kind of woman who is not easily impressed and whose orders are not be discut...

So, when your were drawing your wife, was she angry at you ? May be she dislike you waste your time with such silly things as RPG... (Don't answer, it's only a joke)

Don't answer?

But I must!
She is a very good sport about it. She really likes that my nutty hobby is now paying some bills as well. But yes, she thinks I am freakin' crazy to still be playing this game at 34.
Aren't we all a bit crazy?

She is a great model, she has posed for many of the women I have drawn. One of the first she posed for was of a woman tied up in a sack thrown on the back of a mule (being lead off by a Morgathian to be sacrificed). That was a bit weird, finally asking the love of your life to pose for you, only to hear, "Could you put this sack over your head?"

She did not divorce me, and I new it was true love. :)

That is the single most beautiful thing I have ever heard. Who ever said romance was dead? ;)

No, TRUE love would be if she didn't divorce you after asking her to pose as the MULE :P
