Well, I don't exactly live near Paris, but I will be staying in an flat there for five weeks with another American Hârniac, beginning June 1. I speak no French, so would be of limited use at a gaming table, but maybe a beer is in order?

Why not ? My english is not good enough for a gaming table but probably sufficient for a beer !
Where are you going to live ?

Somewhere in the Sixth, that's all I know. I'll have more details in a few days. It's my friend who is arranging for the place; I'm just along to help him pay his rent. While he's doing intense library work in the Paris Archives, I'll be scamming on Parisian women (probably to no avail, but a man's gotta try).

I was already thinking of that with the few Paris harniacs (Ratafia and Jean-Nicolas Joubert). It would be nice to meet the traveling Harniacs... So, Hrafnaguð, when you will be at Paris, I think it is a good idea to have a drink together.

Well lads, I have made it to Paris! I'll be here for the next six weeks or so. Certainly we can put something together in that time. From 22 May to 26 May, I'll be in Rennes (looking up an old flame), but otherwise I'm kicking around the city.

You are a very wise man! You guys let me know a time that works for eveyone; I'm sure I have the least obligations of anyone involved.

Ok for me guys, the weather is fine and the women pretty, so I'm in the mood for taking a beer and watching the world from behind my sunglasses (a good way to live isn't it !)

As I'm working, I can be free after 7 P.M in the week (not the week-end as I go away from Paris to walk in the forests.)

PS: don't drink too much in the "rue de la soif" in Rennes or you won't be able to go back on your legs to Paris :drinking:

See you soon any evening in the week after 7 P.M in Paris where the girls are so pretty (I know that for sure as I married one :D )

And for me it is... complex. I work during day, during night, sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening... It's not easy !

I am open for just about anything, but in a perfect world this meeting would take place on or after the 22nd. Not that I couldn't manage it sooner, but I am visiting with friends who leave town that day.

Edit: I briefly forgot I will be in Rennes on the 22nd, returning before 12.00 on the 26th, assuming the trains make that possible.

PS Ratafia: j'habite porte d'Italie 8)

Et... Salut les gars!
