IviniaCon 2024 is happening in Lund, Sweden on 9th-11th August 2024!

The following was posted to the IviniaCon Facebook page, so the final "Please report any issues here" refers to that page; I will keep an eye out here, so if anyone is interested but doesn't 'do' Facebook I'll act as intermediary.

The date has been set to 9th of August to 11th of August and a first barebones web-page has been created which can be found here:

In a few days I will get back with details on how to register as a player as well as a GM.

Any thoughts on length of sessions? Is four hour sufficient, or should we do six hours to allow for more gameplay, or perhaps a mix of 4-hour sessions and 6-hour sessions?

Registration is now open, bot for players and GMs. Players and GMs alike all register link 1, participation. GMs also register if they can run sessions during Ivinia Con, see link 2.

I have included a choice for session length, where the expectation is that four hours is the most common.

Use Other comments to indicate any special requirements etc.

The website will normally be updated with registration information on a daily basis.

I wish I had seen this earlier. When I first saw this a few weeks ago, I had just fixed all my year's vacation for a week. Well, "no space left on device". I'll promise to watch the forum more closely next year, Claudia and I would have liked to come very much.

It would be great to see you both, too! The final date setting tends to happen a bit haphazardly, but it's invariably on a weekend around the end of July or first two weekends in August. It took a while to get rolling again after Covid, but it's getting there. You could join this year online - not ideal, but it might get the blood flowing again?

It says online possible in many sessions. Is the procedure for registering the same for online as onsite?

Yes - you just indicate in person/online in the form.

I don't see any way to register for any session. Is this all going to take place in the Meet & Greet from 17:30 - 19:00, which (tentatively) also takes place via zoom (a link will be available where)?
I tried https://ivinia.se/kontakta-mig/ but that form is broken.

Not yet, for me I'm afraid, as I ran one group through it and there are more folks interested. If you are a GM who wants to run it, however (it runs under Torchbearer 2E, and you would need to already have that), pm me and I'll pass you the files.
