Zigardmere

Zigardmere (“Secluded Lake”) is a deserted Khuzdul hunting lodge/iron mine nestled well-hidden in the eastern foothills of the Felsha Mountains, just northwest of Lake Myen. What is now a river valley was, over a thousand years ago, a placid lake which dried up due to seismic activity and changed weather conditions. The lodge was built at the southern end of that lake around BT 823 by clan Barkhazad. It is an excellent example of Codominium masonry and engineering at its peak. The lodge was abandoned after the Battle of Sorrows.

What treasures can be found in the tombs of these skilled miners and masons? Could it be a perfect place for a hidden headquarters for the Uthriem Roliri, or perhaps Jarin refugees, or a band of outlaws. Or has no-one ever breached its hidden halls?
