Nothrine Manor

Nothrine Manor lies at the southwest area of Nelefayn Hundred (qv), on the northern bank of the Hemurin River. It is the current hold of the powerful Bartyne family. Nothrine was built in 542 TR when Sheryl Bartyne was granted a fief by the Earl of Osel. The Hemurin River provided a barrier to the barbarians to the south, and the western forest provided all the materials needed. Nothrine grows rye and sweet lintels as their main crop. The local area also has a number of useful herbs and spices and the river bank produces flowers that can be used to make red and a rare violet dye.
