Priestly garment consists of an open front robe of fine cloth, similar to an unzipped graduation gown. The colors of the garment signify the circle of the priest, while color of the trim signifies various official titles and ranks. If offers a (0 1 0 1) protection to the shoulder, upper arm, elbow, forearm, hip, thigh, knee, and calve, and weighs 6 lb.
Robe colors: 3rd--black 4th--blue 5th--red 6th--yellow 7th--white
The 'Hyvrack' is usually a hexagonal pendent about 1½" across. Engraved on the surface is a counter-clockwise spiral. The pendent is composed of silver, and has about the weight and thickness of a silver dollar (negligible for encumbrance). It is normally worn on top clothing, but is not necessarily so. Without this symbol, the priest cannot properly invoke any rituals. (A crude version could be quickly drawn in the sand or on paper, but ritual ML is at -20)
Calendar Holidays-
Forum- the 7th, 13th, 19th, and 25th of each month. The meeting is two hours long, consisting of two lectures, plays, performances, etc. The first is usually done by the local presiding priest, and if possible the priest will invite other priests (usually as a favor for friends) to speak for the second hour. These are separated by a drinking of blessed water. Any person is welcome to attend a forum, they are held in Temples where available, or any other meeting hall will suffice.
Symposium- the 1st of each month. These are held only in the temples. Any follower of Save-K'nor is welcome, as well as other by invitation. (Most sages, scribes, etc. have standing invitations.) The meeting is a 4 hour version of the Forum. The presiding High priest will present the first hour, followed by 3 other speakers / performers. Each hour the audience partakes of blessed water.
Colloquium- Morgat 1st-7th. The annual meeting of all the Shea-Al-Aecor at a secret location to 'discuss the unspeakable mysteries'. All other Priests of Save-K'nor are expected to spend an extra 15 minutes in meditation and petition that their leaders are granted insight each day of the meeting.
Concordium- Peonu 30th. The annual celebration of the signing of the Concordat, and the event of Save-K'nor becoming the 'Keeper of the Var-Hyvrak.' This ceremony is usually observed by High Priest's reviewing and auditing the other religions in their area. Usually a 24 hour presence of a Save-K'nor priest is present at each temple of each god. (Some are more grudging then others-priest's sent to audit the temples of Naveh frequently do not return.) This is also occasion for most Church-approved governments to 'renew their ratification' with various simple ceremonies.
Fasts-- occur on the 15th of each month (the full moon). To observe a fast the follower must abstain from any food from Midnight to Midnight. The fast is disregarded unless it also includes 2 meditative ponerances, journal keeping, purification rituals, as well as at least 1 hour of research. Although they have different names, each fast is effectively the same.
