- No Not I.
Who did it then?
It was not I
It was - we saw you
and curse you to hell for it
It was not I
It was not I

History
Jakpah is said to have been one of the most unrepentant killers during the early 400s TR. He slew 30 women and children of human, Sindarin and khuzdul decendancy before finally being caught. No one seems to know which race Jakpah belonged to, but when he was caught with fresh blood on his clothes, the unique knife in his hands and a freshly killed corpse still gripping his tunic in fear for her life - he was reported to say "It was not I" over and over to his accusers.
From all accounts Jakpah was a bard, who's tales were well liked and who's presence was greatly heralded. He is said to have sung for all the great and famous of the three races. After his capture by the Sindarin, the Khuzdul took the gift they had made it and together two powerful mages bound him into the light and beautiful helm for eternity. His body was buried and the ashes consecrated to Siem for safe keeping. The helm was suppose to remain entombed in a hidden Khuzdul burial site, but evil things have a way of being found.

Powers
This accursed item has an Intelligence of 18, a Will of 15 and an aura of 13. It's Mental Conflict skill is 87. Jackpah's soul is indeed locked in the helmet and still has the memory of all the skills, stories and abilities that the body once possessed. Jakpah is fully awake and aware of his captivity, but it seems to have driven him no further mad than he already was.
If he manages to conquer a wearer, he will begin his serial murdering anew. He seems to hate anything innocent and always made these his first target. The helm cannot easily be destroyed without freeing Jakpah. If Jakpah fails, his knowledge of tales and songs becomes that of the wearer so long as the helmet is worn.
