An average looking woman, 71 inches tall, and of heavy frame. Her hair is brown, short and straight, and her eyes are blue.
She was born on 9th of Peonu, the third of 3 children. Without any chance of inheriting, she joined the legion at the age of 16, intending to try for a land grant. Unfortunately, 12 years into her tour, she got into an argument with a new Manus. According to rumor she killed him, but the legion declared her innocent, and drummed her out. Fortunately she found employ with the Golden Daggers.
She is law-abiding and will usually keep promises made and avoid harming others. Most people like her upon first encounter. She wears bulky armour and keeps her hair short. Her company knows she's a woman and her voice does give her away - but she is treated as a man. Those who insist on trying to treat her in any other way tend to get trounced. She has a reputation for brawling and standing up to defend her company whenever anyone tries to slander one of her men. She is as quick with lewd jokes as any man is and often embarrassed by her company's attempts to defend her honor.
She leads the Blue Company. They have no permanent base camp, but seem to spend a lot of time around Shiran.
