Horbeth stands 5'3" tall with an average frame. He has a medium complexion, red hair and grey eyes. Other than his remarkable coloring, he looks average.
Horbeth has considered himself a bastard from when he first understood the
name. His mother's infidelity did not have a chance to ruin her marriage,
as she died giving birth to Horbeth's twin (who also didn't survive.) His
father (Horbeth) was an honest fisherman
who worked along the river Thard. Horbeth joined the legion as a full-timer
at age 16 for two reasons: the first is that he never liked fishing, and the
second was that his father could not afford to support him further. The legion
was good to Horbeth, he met a few friends, learned some new skills and in
general had a good time. He retired from the legion in 714, and helped Kerbin
build the Haven the following year.
He is a chatty fellow with a good disposition. He is most dangerous when he's quiet. He loves to laugh and play at cards or dice - and always has a pot of Sib on the boil in the inn.
Horbeth has a full legion kit buried (somewhere?) in his room. He wears a standard tunic, leggings and sandals in greens and browns. The clothes are always well patched and reasonably clean, but very rumpled. His red hair is in a constant state of disarray, and his gray eyes are either as cold as steel, or full of mirth. He has a loud, booming voice that carries as well on the battlefield as in song in a tavern.
