Born on the 30 of Larane (Angbereluis), 690TR. He was the 4th child of farmers (serfs) who later orphaned the child in the city of Golotha. He has brown eyes and blonde hair with a dark complexion. He is of average build and strength. He stands 56 inches tall (middle height) with a medium frame.
Hincard is of less-than-average intelligence and tends to use his combat skills at every chance that presents itself. He is a follower by nature (Wil 11) and is easily swayed by the majority. He follows Dierbo because Dierbo seems to like him and in return for the occasional kind remark or easy task, Hinkard offers unswerving loyalty if not the brightest dinner conversation (Rhetoric 36). His singing is palatable and he has a pleasant voice (Voi 13), and he is very keenly sighted (Eye 14).
Hincard tries not to think too much. He does not enjoy it much. It took his master a long time to train Hinkard as a squire. When Dierbo killed Hinkards master in a tournament, Hinkard started following the Dark Paladin as a matter of course. The fact that Dierbo asks so little of him makes Hinkard all the more loyal.
Hincard has a brutish temperament and a violent streak that comes out best when he is angry. He gets very angry when he is made to feel stupid. His previous master tried to beat this behavior out of Hincard, but now Dierbo cultivates it; unleashing it only when the situations best merit brute strength without reason.

Born on the 29 of Kelen (Feniri), 699TR. She was the only child of Matrianan of Swaryne, who died at her birth. Popular with her grandparents, she was raised in the family tradition and given to the church of Agrik on her 8th birthday. She has blue eyes and brown hair with a medium complexion. She was once pretty, but facial scars, a broken nose and a love of combat has changed that considerably. She stands 54 inches tall (high height) with a medium frame. Her compatriots often mistake her for a man when she is in full armor.
She met Dierbo at a joust in Themeson in 708TR, and fell in with him when he successfully skewered a judge who disagreed with her over her score on the joust. Her father is an influential priest in the Agrikan order in Golotha, and her decision to join the Cohorts of Gashang has never ceased to anger him.
Ansius is quiet most of the time, appearing wise and pensive when really she is just of average intelligence. She works hard to be a better knight, both in the service of Agrik as well as in combat. She loves to win and is a very sore and very vicious looser.
Those expecting to face a softer opponent in either determination or brutality because of her sex will be very surprised. Ansius would rather die than loose, something she and Dierbo have argued over many times. Unlike her Agrikan counterparts, she does not partake in rape; even symbolically. While the idea does not bother her, she feels herself to be too exposed and would rather give her enemies a quick death and then a slow eternity in Ak-Syst.

Born on the 29 of Larane (Angbereluis), 687TR. He was the 2nd child to a young agrikan priest and his wife. Dierbo was unpopular with his parents and forever disobeying his father. Eventually he ran away from Quiste and found his way to Golotha where he fell in amongst the gladiators. The priests there saw something special in him and gave him over to Malakthor of Glomnia, a knight of their order.
Dierbo has grey eyes and black hair with a medium complexion. He is of average appearance with split lips and a thrice broken nose. He stands 62 inches tall with a medium frame. He prefers to wear darkened armor and a black leather cloak with black boots. He joined Herpa the Mace when he was 12 and became a full knight at the age of 16.
While he has shown signs of battle lust, Dierbo thinks his attacks through carefully. Considered broody by his compatriots, he is a patient and cold hearted man with a certitude in regards to the future that few have. He was a major factor in the rebellion and creation of the Cohorts of Gashang and openly hates his original order for their duplicity and cowardice.
He has slowly cultivated a small group of knights and men at arms who he trusts and travel with him everywhere. As a dark paladin of his order, Dierbo is outside their hierarchy, but still is an important man. He knows and uses many Agrikan rituals (up to circle 4) and seems to be the very blessed of Agrik in battle for he has only lost twice in his lifetime. His compatriots believe it to be a very bad omen when Dierbo is not present at a fight - for it often means they will loose and loose badly. Agrik, it seems, protects his own.

Born on the 4 of Savor (Tai - Tarael Cusp), 680TR. He was the 5th child of a farmer (serf) and a prostitute (slave). He was taken into service as a squire by Malakthor of Glomnia who eventually knighted Warian for saving his life. The same day that Malakthor was slain by Dierbo, Warian tried to slay Dierbo and failed. Warian still bears the wounds Dierbo dealt him with pride. He now serves Dierbo as faithfully as he once did Malakthor.
Warian has brown eyes, brown hair streaked with grey and a dark complexion. He was once handsome, but there is now a vicious scar that runs down the length of the left side of his face reducing his appearance to average at best. He stands 61 inches tall (tall height) with a medium frame.
Warian tries not to correct his betters, namely Dierbo, but he has a mind and is not afraid to use it. While never formally trained in tactics, he is very good at figuring out a battle situation and how best to win it. Many of Dierbos compatriots blame his rate of success on Warians skill.
By all rights Dierbo should have slain Warian long ago. That the man is still alive is seen as a weakness on Dierbos part. Warian has had to become even more brutal and better at combat to remain alive. Dierbo has many enemies who believe killing Warian would deal Dierbo a deadly blow. What few seem to understand is that it is Warian who likes Dierbo and not the other way around.
Warian loves to gamble but is very careful with his masters money. He gambled it away once and was beaten to within an inch of his life, then brought out to a stake and whipped in public by Dierbo. The lesson has never been forgotten.

Born on the 22 of Savor (Tai), 700TR. She was the 3rd child of a farmer (serf) and a knight (noble). As a bastard, she was always an outcast and few missed her when she ran away. The Cohorts of Gashang took her in and trained her in the arts of combat at first for amusement, but she later joined the ranks of the laity because of her skill.
She has brown eyes and brown hair with a dark complexion. She is of average appearance. She stands 62 inches tall with a heavy frame. Often she squires for Dierbo or Ansius; as neither of them have a proper squire. She is a rough and tumble lass who is well aware that she is of the weaker sex. She carries two daggers in special sheathes between her legs and against her skin. She even claims to have used them to be rid of unrequited lovers.
Bunvanë enjoys a good drink almost as much as she enjoys a good battle. Gambling and games are second nature to her and she is lucky enough to win regularly. Her armor does nothing to hide her feminine shape and she enjoys being watched by men. Watching, however, is as far as it goes. Those who touch her without her permission tend to loose extremities. Bunvanë has been known to fire warning shots through the chest of her enemies.
Dierbo listens to her council; but usually it is he who gives her orders. She acts as huntsman to Dierbos party and travels with him almost constantly. She denies ever sleeping with the Dark Paladin.
