What's New Part II
Part I of What's New is still available, but it was getting too large.
This page changes regularly. Its rather interesting to watch the changes and the growth of this site. Surprisingly all the links on this page are still valid. I don't know if that's a testament to the tools I use, or a sign that this web page is in dire need of an overhaul!
As of August 13, 2002

This time around there's not much new. Mostly just correcting errors on pages - making sure everything links up right and doing all that fun stuff one is suppose to do before a site goes live, but for the curious among you - here's the list.
- Fixed Bugs: OK. I think I've worked out most of the Javascript errors. It seems my roll-over script was adding numbers to the ends of the names of the graphics. So while the graphics existed, their names and the names being called didn't match - thus the error. Funny thing was, the scripts worked in IE ... Hopefully I got them all. Also - Dreamweaver Templates and onload (or other body tag based commands) do not match. Removing them caused a lot of bugs and flakey results to just disappear.
- Fixed Bugs:Relinked a few files to the download section. You should now find all the spell files there. Also linked the Character Creation Worksheet to the page. It was there, just not linked - go figure. The HarnVisio.zip file was corrupt. I've successfully uploaded a new one and now it seems to work.
- Fixed Bugs: Fixed a dozen (or so) navigational errors (pages that led to the wrong pages).
- I'm still looking for bugs - so keep those reports comming! Thanks to: Jim Lassiter, Bill Gant, Peter Leich, Daniel Westermayr, Dr. Smurf, R. Lighty, many others.
- Moved Uriel and Gainas to a combined directory called "old".
- New Material: Added a new character (and added the appropriate tabes to the PC templates). Johnson of Eabin, Son of Patrick, is the group's latest fabrica. There's not much there just yet, but it will grow with time.
- New Material: Finished the Editorial - Who is this Ketherian Person anyway. I hadn't realized I'd left off so much!
- New Material: Added the Auran Seal of Approval to the parts of the Fuming Gate article which appear on Harn.Com. Thank you Auran. Now I'd best get cracking at creating a new article for them ...
- Known Bug: the date on the bottom of most pages is generated by javascript. Unfortunately it is now showing the current date as the date last updated. I know it's a bug, I just have to figure out how to fix it. ...
- Known Bug: loading a gif or jpg not attached to an HTML page may cause Netscape 4.7x browser to crash. This seems to happen about 1 time in 4 - primarily with older browsers and it does not matter as to the file size. One option is to link all graphics to an HTML page. The other is to give up on GIF and JPEG entirely and switch to PNG (which does not seem to cause the same problem). I'll probably begin trying the former over time. More work. Sigh
As of March 30th, 2001
- Still trying to track down that *!@#$%## JavaScript Error at runtime.
- New Editorial: Who is this Ketherian Person anyway. Details me, projects I'm working on and where else you can find my stuff.
- Corrected Bill Gant's falling damage rules. Bill wrote in to correct it, the least I could do was post his corrections.
- Jim Lassiter's been pointing out spelling mistakes. I won't link to them - but chances are if you see a freshly updated page or two around here - it's all his fault. Thanks Jim.
- Many people commented on my last editorial. Thank you all for your kind words of support and understanding. Flames were appropriately round filed after being read, passed around and laughed at.
As of March 22nd, 2001
- A new editorial. Warning! This one may inspire flame mail as I vent my own steam in it. [HTML 20KB]
- Fixed the broken links on this page. See the Superdeformed images!
- Fixed the problems with the Fobin page - it should no longer crash Netscape 4.7x. Please let me know if it still does. Because of this - all the cool drop down menus are gone off all the pages. Some index pages may still generate errors. Please report them so I can find them!
- Rusna is now up in full color on lythia.com. Check out their feature section!
- Finally I scanned in the Where Dragon's Dare Cellar Map, so now all three
are available off the adventure
page.
- Level 1 [480x538 gif 58kb],
- 2 [480x430 gif 48kb]
- and 3 [478x419 gif 3kb] of this dungeon crawl
- Two new graphics from Gerry Beaudoin:
- Caius Bust [450x562 JPEG 26KB]
- Fennelisa Bust [316x370 JPEG 15KB]
- Letters from Fennelisa to home (in 2 parts) from Gerry Beaudoin
- Letters from Antonius to a variety of people from Marie Astrid Walling
As of February 28th, 2001
- The format's changed once again. I've been playing around with navigational aids, and have finally settled on what you now see. Hopefully it will prove for easier navigation.
- Campaign: Lots of changes! Characters are now stored in the People/PC Section. The PC handout for Ilven 718 is now up.
- Catalog - This section is under construction
- Downloads - I cleaned up the page, added a few things and a lot of dates.
- Editorials: Webs of Wonder
- Legion: Since I'm rewriting stuff - the Legion, Cohort and Tenacus articles are up in PDF. Unfortunately only the Legion article is complete.
- Magic: The HTML Grimoires are gone. You now have to download them in PDF or Word97 format. They were just too cumbersome to clean and reformat. However, now the alternate pvarism, familiars, melchusian magic and mendian magic files are easier to find.
- People: Player Characters: Antonius : The Journals of Antonius were updated over the holidays. Chapter 3 is now complete and Chapter 4 chronicles the month of Nolus. The Journals are © Marie-Astrid Walling. If you like them - drop me an e-mail, maybe it will convince her to keep typing!
- I've also included Gérald Beaudoin's excellent Superdeformed characters
of the party as well as a few other of his great graphics!
- Superdeformed Antonius [625 x 661 GIF 159KB]
- Superdeformed Caius [479x625 pixels GIF 77KB]
- Caius the Archer [459x625 pixels GIF]
- Caius in Neon [570x525 pixels GIF]
- Superdeformed Corneilus [508x685 pixels GIF 102KB]
- Superdeformed Fennelisa [625x491 pixels GIF 106KB]
- Parents Home [Residence in Coranan City] [582x533 pixels GIF 256 Color 105KB]
- People: Player Characters: Fennelisa : All the character sheets for Fennelisa's family are now up.
- People: Player Characters: Uriel : Updated this information to its final form. While Uriel's player is no longer with the game, it seemed a shame to just let this go to waste.
- GMSTUFF : A new index page. By the way, player character information is cross-indexed, it appears in both People and GM Stuff.
- Seventh Sphere - Issue T67 is now up.
- GMSTUFF: Treasure - it's a new section. Not much more than descriptions of stuff, but it's coming along nicely.
- Society: Common Lore: How to tell a Free from a Slave - a badly written song on how to tell the difference.
- Editorials: I've updated war and written a new one (webs of wonder) about what's been happening this past month with Auran and me.
- People : NPCs - I've moved all the ones that were embedded in articles into the NPC section, and remade the index for easier searching.
- Places: Azerya has moved, and most of the broken links are now fixed. There are a lot more files coming - I just need time to format them.
- Places: Rethem - yes Rethem. Because I intend to expand Tharda, I thought it only fitting to include the before and after information. I'm currently working on the "before" stuff. Right now this is just an outline.
- Religion: Agrik : I've left the orders of the Fuming Gate, Scarlet Veil and Warriors of Mameka up, but it's my intention to eventually replace them with large PDFs instead. I've moved the glossary out of the Order of the Fuming Gate article and into the general Agrikan page.
- Religion: Halea : Not much here yet - just the feast of Halane. This was in the Fobin section, but I've moved it and updated it too.
- Rules: They've been reorganized into HMI, HMC and System Generic. A new file (my current set of house rules) was also added.
- Seventh Sphere: T67
- Thardex: Questions - my FAQ is growing. If you have a question about Tharda or this website - send it to me and I'll gladly add it.
- My To Do List: It's been a while since this was updated. So I have - and the list just gets longer and longer ... seems I can never quite do enough. :) The old list is still on the site, just not directly linked to the menus.
- Copyright: I've tried to include all the names of contributors to this site. If I missed you - please do let me know.
